Our Story
The Boston west coast swing community is lucky to have a wealth of social dance and dance education opportunities in the area. While we obviously live in the greatest city on Earth, the public transportation system is… not as good as it could be. This can make it challenging for folks to access all of the places to dance in Greater Boston. It can be especially tough for the college students in our community, who are even less likely to have a car. Dirty Water WCS works to bring in both local and international professionals for an educational and social experience that’s close to home and to the T. While Dirty Water WCS itself is new to the scene, the people behind it are long-standing community members with a deep passion for growing west coast swing in the Greater Boston area.

For nearly a decade, Alli has been serving the community as a teacher, DJ, and back-end magic-maker. She is passionate about increasing the accessibility of west coast swing for dancers of all backgrounds. Alli is a mental health clinician by day, dancer and colorguard director by night, and a 24/7 dark chocolate consumer.
